1.【址:a g 9 559⒐ v i p】1It certainly was an odd thing that happened to Sara. She had to cross the street just when she was saying this to herself The mud was dreadful-- she almost had to wade. She picked her way as carefully as she could, but she could not save herself much; only, in picking her way, she had to look down at her feet and the mud, and in looking down-- just as she reached the pavement--she saw something shining in the gutter. It was actually a piece of silver--a tiny piece trodden upon by many feet, but still with spirit enough left to shine a little. Not quite a sixpence, but the next thing to it-- a fourpenny piece.
2."Since when?" asked Sara.
3."Perhaps it does if you are not used to it," said Sara, with friendly sympathy; "but you don't know how easy it is when you've done it often. I wouldn't try so hard just at first. It will come to you after a while. I'll just tell you what things are. Look at these."
4."You are always supposing things," said Lavinia, and her air was very superior.
5.So Sara was led grandly in and felt shy when, on her entry, the big girls stared at her and touched each other's elbows, and the little ones began to squirm joyously in their seats.
6.She had to remember things quickly when she laid her book on the window-seat and jumped down from her comfortable corner.

计划指导

1.A mist rose before Sara's eyes.
2.Every sign of the festivities had been swept away; the holly had been removed from the schoolroom walls, and the forms and desks put back into their places. Miss Minchin's sitting room looked as it always did--all traces of the feast were gone, and Miss Minchin had resumed her usual dress. The pupils had been ordered to lay aside their party frocks; and this having been done, they had returned to the schoolroom and huddled together in groups, whispering and talking excitedly.
3."That doll," cried Miss Minchin, pointing to the splendid birthday gift seated near--"that ridiculous doll, with all her nonsensical, extravagant things--I actually paid the bill for her!"
4."What IS she crying for?" she almost yelled.
5."I thought," retorted Lavinia, in severe recollection, that your mamma was dead. How can she know things?"
6."She is a sensible little thing, and she never wants anything it isn't safe to give her," he said.

推荐功能

1."Sara!" she stammered. "Why, she's with the children in your room, of course."
2.But the sudden thought which had flashed upon her had made her over-sensitive.
3."It's like a queen's table," sighed Becky.
4."What are you staring at?" demanded Miss Minchin, sharply. "Are you so stupid that you cannot understand? I tell you that you are quite alone in the world, and have no one to do anything for you, unless I choose to keep you here out of charity."
5. "Becky!" she exclaimed. "My dearest Sara!"
6."I shall pretend that," she said; "and it will be a great comfort."

应用

1.On this very afternoon, while Sara was out, a strange thing happened in the attic. Only Melchisedec saw and heard it; and he was so much alarmed and mystified that he scuttled back to his hole and hid there, and really quaked and trembled as he peeped out furtively and with great caution to watch what was going on.
2."If I were able to travel, I would go with you," said Carrisford; "but I can only sit here wrapped in furs and stare at the fire. And when I look into it I seem to see Crewe's gay young face gazing back at me. He looks as if he were asking me a question. Sometimes I dream of him at night, and he always stands before me and asks the same question in words. Can you guess what he says, Carmichael?"
3.And just at that very moment she heard the door being cautiously pushed open and saw Becky peeping round it.
4、"That I did not know what I was doing?" Miss Minchin fairly gasped.
5、"I have not had either dinner or supper today, Miss Minchin," said Sara, rather faintly.

And then, if you will believe me, she looked straight at the shop directly facing her. And it was a baker's shop, and a cheerful, stout, motherly woman with rosy cheeks was putting into the window a tray of delicious newly baked hot buns, fresh from the oven-- large, plump, shiny buns, with currants in them.
